Iron & Grain Co. - Mobile Bar & Grill is a catering company specializing in locally inspired wood-fired fare as well as locally cocktails, craft beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages.

Established in 2015, the philosophy behind Iron & Grain was shaped by a love of open flame cooking and the bonds created by those experiences. Food and fire have been great unifiers throughout time and our goal is to continue that tradition while providing a turn-key approach for clients looking for a truly unique catering experience.

Each event is unique, each event is special, and we take great pride in the opportunity to makes these experiences as memorable as possible for our valued family of clients.

History

We feel the term “food truck” doesn’t really do “The Viking” our 1959 Chevy Viking - Mobile Bar & Grill justice. As the first “food truck” in Connecticut with a liquor license, Iron & Grain Co. offers a truly one-of-a-kind catering experience.

“The Viking” first came to Connecticut in 2015, after spending the first fifty-six years of its life on a corn farm in Alabama. Giving this well loved vintage piece of American farming history a new use and new life is our way of honoring the history of entrepreneurship that our country was built on.
